Workshops & courses in Improvisation...
The 'Impro Scenes' one-day workshop
Who is this course aimed at?
An impro scene can last anything from seconds to a few minutes. The stage is a blank canvass to paint with new characters, relationships, emotions and ideas; in fact anything at all. Unlike impro games there is nothing to guide or restrain you – this freedom requires a strong skill set to successfully create engaging scenes and avoid being left with nothing to say or do.
The day also briefly recaps the basic impro skills.Who are our teachers?
Your tutor for this impro masterclass will be one of the regular Sprout Ideas coaches - used to teaching everyone from students at drama school, to trainee GPs and computer programmers. Sprout Ideas tutors are all experts in providing a safe and relaxed atmosphere in which to learn, experiment and have fun.

Quotes from some of our past students
"Having been slightly nervous beforehand, I
felt the atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming and we were encouraged to try out
new things. I really enjoyed it"
"I had a wonderful
time, I felt it was a smooth introduction
"An exceptionally enjoyable and well structured two days - one of the best workshops I have ever attended. Exhausting and exhilarating. A roller-coaster romp through impro and into performance."
