This is a TASTER class especially for complete beginners!!

We’ll start with some warm-ups, followed by a focus on some key skills. This session will be 99% practical and the atmosphere will be very friendly and supportive.

Many people think of improv as something “scary” that only actors or comedians can do. This session aims to turn the fear into fun with a selection of games and exercises in pairs and small groups. Come along to explore your creativity and spontaneity, stretch your communication skills and boost your confidence. Anyone can learn to improvise. Nervous beginners welcome!

Dave is currently the resident improvisation teacher at University of West London and the Court Theatre Drama School. He started improvising to help reduce his anxiety, and began performing with London Theatresports and Sacred Scriptless in the 90s. He has directed shows by Stephen K Amos, Chris McCausland, Felix Dexter and Phil Nichol. The last of which was also nominated for the Perrier award.

No experience necessary. If you don’t normally do this kind of thing then this is for YOU!

This is an adult class – over 18s only.
