  • Improvisers who wish to refresh their existing skills

This course is not recommended for complete beginners

Tell me about the course

You'll learn:

  • Song structures
  • How and when to rhyme
  • The best things to sing about
  • Finding a chorus
  • How to 'sell' a song

Who are our teachers?

Your tutor will be Andy Fisher. Andy has been accompanying improvised musicals and plays since the 90s. But he is not only one of the best impro musicians in the business, he is also a composer, orchestrator and jazz pianist and writes in film, music theatre, jazz and classical spheres. Something of a glutton for punishment, Andrew has completed a PhD in Composition.

All SPROUT IDEAS tutors are experts in providing a safe and relaxed atmosphere in which to learn, experiment and have fun.

Group Size

The group will be small for all specialised singing workshops - limited to 12 people - so there will be plenty of time to practice.

Quotes from some of our past students

"Absolutely loved it. I was astonished how quickly we made progress."
Neil Goulder

"Lovely positive style of teaching. I have been recommending
London based improv enthusiasts to you."

John Cremer, Star Speaker 2007: Academy for Chief Executives

"I enjoyed the course very much. It was the highlight of my impro-studying trip to London.
I thought it was well paced, from an impro warm-up to a singing warm-up, to some basic rules and structures,
and then the more complex singing."

Monica Maria Anastase (Romania)
